Cool - I'll check it out. Hip and knee feel fine and my cold/flu/whatever has worked its way out now. Where's the next DDMC going to be? Trail time?

i used a 16 week training schedule out of Trail Runner. If you check my blog postings from last year in June, I posted a schedule. Stuck pretty much with the mileage, but never got a long run in over 25.

looking like a DDMC on this saturday.

Thanks - I'll try not to sweat it. Did you have any particular training program to prep for a 50 in 4 months?

If you go Sunday, I'm game for Kensington this weekend (or next?). Probably won't do the full 26.2, but I'll see how long I can hang for.

i didnt start training in earnest for the North Country 50 miler until June so don't panic. If you are feeling better by next wknd, I think I will be doing DDMC #5 out at Kensington/Island Lake if interested.

It's just the right one. It's all in my form - I know. I push off hard with it and land harder on it. Need balance, and more rest. This is discouraging for training for a 50miler, but I'll keep at it. Hopefully some of the miles and fitness logged swimming and biking can transfer over to endurance miles while running, too. Guess we'll find out!

Nice job on the trail half! Both hips sore or predominantly one? Perhaps due to the undulating terrain of the trail half it became aggrivated.
